Capt. Alex P. Thazhamon is a Master Mariner with 16 years of sailing experience and an additional 20 years of shore experience in Marine Surveying, Vessel Operations — Trading, Chartering, Technical, Crewing, Safety and Quality, Audit and Inspections, and Vessel Agency. As the visionary behind Marine Costa Shipping Services L.L.C., he brings a deep understanding of the maritime industry and has successfully handled all types of vessels operationally, technically and commercially — carrying out vessel and cargo inspections for commercial, claims and insurance purposes, port captaincy for loading and discharging, and pre-purchase inspections of vessels, tugs and crew boats.
Under his guidance, Marine Costa has grown into a trusted name in marine and cargo services across the UAE and beyond. His leadership is marked by professionalism, integrity, and a strong focus on delivering value-driven solutions tailored to client needs. His expertise spans vessel operations, marine surveying, offshore coordination, chartering, port management, and regulatory compliance, and he remains actively involved in day-to-day operations to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
